2024 Prayer Guide

I put together this prayer guide for 2024, and am asking you to join with me in asking God to guide and accomplish what only he can through the work and ministry of Christ Life Art.

Clarity In My Calling

  • I do not doubt it, but I do not fully understand how to always follow it.

  • Active mentors who can help me grow in this mission, give guidance, and be a voice of encouragement.

  • Bring in others who believe in the mission and want to see it reach and impact others.

  • Purity in my motives and trust in God’s timing.

Trust – Hustle – Rest

In 2024, I’m asking God to help my life be marked by these three things.

TRUST

  • I would have a foundational reliance on Christ. In success or struggle, my heart is secure in him.

  • My relationship with him would deepen and surpass any growth of this ministry/business.

  • I would follow his lead as best as I can see it and trust all results to him.

HUSTLE

  • Work hard, as unto the Lord, to encourage others in their faith.

  • Put myself out there more and reach for new opportunities I usually shrink back from.

  • Energy and clarity over what to create that can generate revenue and not compromise the mission.

REST

  • To rest well and be present with my family and friends.

  • I do not give in to anger or depression when other needs take me away from creating.

  • That the truth of John 15:5 will settle in my soul. I would abide in him and work out of my remaining in him.

Creation Goals

  • 6-8 new relief prints in 2024

  • 6 new podcast episodes in 2024 to create season 2 of Made for Glory

  • 5-10 wood turnings

  • 5 speaking opportunities outside of CR

  • 2 Hope Drops - Spring and Fall of multiple art pieces dropped around the area.

Resource Goals

  • God would see fit to use this calling to help provide for my family.

  • Grow in Patronage to $500 a month.

  • Establish my own online shop, making monthly sales, and move away from Etsy.

  • Find and collect free wood that people throw out to turn on my lathe.

  • Acquire the following tools to help with the ministry:

    • turning tools to create a variety of projects, a reliable chain saw, a computer, a larger printing press to easily print larger-sized relief prints, a full-size lathe to turn larger pieces

Audience Goals

  • Reaching 2000 on IG and 1000 on FB to impact lives and encourage faith in others. Finding an audience that will share the work out of a desire to see others encouraged.

  • Attend an Art Festival, Farmers’ Market, Scissor Tail Night Market, or Affair of the Heart.
